Background Information

Oral and maxillofacial surgery requires additional years of hospital-based surgical and anesthesia training after graduation from dental school. As oral and maxillofacial surgeons, Dr. Morris and Dr. Malaki treat a wide variety of issues relating to the mouth, teeth, and facial regions.

Our surgeons practice a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with expertise ranging from extractions, orthodontic procedures, lesion evaluation and wisdom tooth removal. Dental implant surgery is regularly performed. This also includes techniques designed to rebuild bone structure to support the implant. Our office can also diagnose and treat facial pain, facial injuries, and fractures.

We work with your general dentist, dental specialist or orthodontist to complete recommended dental care. We strongly recommend a thorough evaluation by your referring dentist so you have good understanding of your needs and treatment goals prior to scheduling an appointment with us. They will provide you with a referral listing procedures needed allowing us to help you meet those goals.

Our surgical staff are experienced oral and maxillofacial surgical assistants, who assist in your surgical care and monitoring during Nitrous or IV sedation anesthesia. We maintain current CPR certification and follow current standards of the Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. The assistants are excellent at calming fears and anxieties as well as providing instructions on pre-operative and post-operative care.

Our front desk staff will help guide your through the appointment process and answer any financial questions you may have.
